About Me

Organizing is a form of self care
My name is Tiffany May, founder of JOM. I love decluttering and watching spaces transform and knowing that I have helped busy people regain the function and purpose of their space. In one word, clutter.
You see, I wasn’t always this organized, but I did love my profession just the same. For years I was a preschool teacher. I loved what I did, so much so that much of my free time was spent thinking and preparing of what to do with the students the next day. It gave me such joy to see my students happy faces the next day. As time went by I became very well in-tuned with Tiffany the teacher and entirely forgot about Tiffany the person. The end result was clutter.
Fast forward to 2015, the year that changed me. I was let go, and though initially it was a difficult. It became the one that changed my life in a most positive way. I decluttered my space, so much so that it took days to confirm that it was my space- and I loved it! Its organized, functional and gives me mental clarity. Years later some friends and family members saw what I did with my space and hired me to organize theirs…and Just Organize Me was born.
I will share with you that while I loved being a pre-school teacher, this journey has taught me that we are more than one profession. It has taught me that we are made of many layers and often don’t explore any because we get caught up in one. I think the transition from teacher to professional organizer was not difficult because I still love what I do…and I still put a smile in peoples faces. The people just happen to be a little older. I look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to help you declutter!
